A mace is a long handle with weight on one side, similar to the training feel of a sledgehammer, clubbell or steel club. Because of this offset weight distribution, you train not only strength but also control, stability and full-body tension. The Ironmaster Quick-Lock Mace Handle is ideal for core training, shoulders, grip strength, rotational movements and functional full-body exercises.
Compatible with the Quick-Lock system
The Ironmaster Quick-Lock Mace Handle uses the same Quick-Lock weight plates as the adjustable Ironmaster dumbbells and kettlebells. This means you can use existing weight plates from your Quick-Lock setup to make your steel mace heavier or lighter. With the correct locking screw, the weight plates are secured firmly to the end of the handle.
Use the right locking screw for your weight
Depending on how much weight you want to load, use the standard, long or extra-long Ironmaster locking screw. The standard Quick-Lock locking screw is suitable for lighter mace configurations, the long Quick-Lock locking screw for heavier setups and the extra-long locking screw for maximum loading. The total training weight consists of the weight of the mace handle, the locking screw and the loaded weight plates.
